We’re seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join our Product Journeys team within Kraken, delivering an industry-leading experience for our clients.

You’ll tackle complex challenges and create products that enable our customers to easily change tariffs for their supply points. This is an essential capability for the retail energy sector, where we’re looking to further empower our clients to deal with compliance and exception handling across the world. 

Long term, you and the team will participate in redefining Journeys as a whole for Kraken Customer (alongside two other Journey teams) and challenge the expectations with which they’ve been built thus far.

There are currently 5 developers in the team, as well as a tech lead and interim PM; they are spread between European and Japanese timezones.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You’ll gather requirements and translate them into tasks for developers, ensuring smooth collaboration with designers, developers, and stakeholding teams
• Help the team achieve business impact: Discover the outcomes and opportunities that the team can influence; translate them into a data-driven prioritization process
• Manage and prioritise needs: Work closely with stakeholders and developers to align requirements with the team’s broader strategy. You’ll help scope out new features, plan iterations and drive product development that maximises customer value
• Drive innovation: Think strategically about client-facing tools, helping empower users through self-service features and continuously improving their experience
• Own the process: From gathering feedback to reporting on project progress, you’ll be responsible for the full product lifecycle, driving high-impact initiatives that support our mission

• Diseño y optimización de líneas de transmisión y distribución mediante el uso del software de modelización PLS-CADD (incluyendo PLS-POLE y TOWER).

Como GRID CONNECTION ENGINEER, formarás parte de un entorno profesional dinámico y colaborativo, donde tu trabajo tendrá un impacto real tanto en los proyectos como en la evolución de la compañía, desde nuestras oficinas en Madrid.

Tu misión será gestionar la conexión a la red eléctrica del país de las infraestructuras de evacuación y las plantas de generación eléctrica hasta llegar a la Autorización Administrativa de Explotación, obteniendo las autorizaciones necesarias, cumpliendo los plazos contractuales, para obtener la entrada en operación comercial de los proyectos.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABLIDADES

• Será responsable de dar seguimiento a los procesos necesarios para alcanzar la entrada en operación comercial de los proyectos de generación de energía que se conectan a la red.


• Gestionar y colaborar con los distintos gestores internos de proyectos para agilizar la entrega del proyecto.


• Gestionar y colaborar con los distintos grupos de interés (Industria, Utilities, REE, etc.…) para asegurar la aceptación de la energización, generación y entrada en operación comercial.

• To carry out all the activities involved in the manufacturing process carried out in the plant.
• Comply with the applicable risk prevention regulations, as well as with Quality and Food Safety standards.

• Colabora con el Usuario en la definición y redacción de los “Requerimientos de Usuario” y lidera el resto de fases de un proyecto: diseño, gestión de la contratación (lanzamiento de pedidos y certificación), control presupuestario, dirección de obra, recepción, pruebas y puesta en marcha.

Support and/or lead submissions and approvals with relevant Spanish bodies and authorities

Technical skills:

• Good level of civil design capability including levels, underground drainage, pavements and roads, flooding, and earthworks.
• Good understanding of the design of below ground utilities (ducts, pipes, and chamber coordination and specification) is preferred, working knowledge and willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience with submission and approval with relevant Spanish bodies and authorities (Colegio de Ingenieros, municipalities, environmental authorities, statutory undertakers, and other stakeholders).
• Experience with approval processes for sewer connections and adoptions, including applications with the local municipality.
• Good knowledge of Spanish design codes, standards and regulations including , PG3, CTE, Guía de cimentaciones en obras de Carretera.
• Knowledge of UK and European codes is an advantage.
• Proficiency in (and enthusiasm for) design and modelling software including, Autodesk Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling software such as InfoDrainage.

A good understanding of BIM requirements. Knowledge of Revit beneficial but not necessary. If the candidate does not have experience with Revit, a willingness to learn will be an advantage.

Objective of the Position:

The Senior Buyer leads the end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for complex packages (equipment, materials, subcontracts, and specialized services) within industrial plant projects (EPC, water treatment, power, utilities). The role secures best total cost, quality, delivery, and risk allocation across the full project lifecycle—acting as the procurement voice in the project, negotiating critical terms, managing supplier performance, and coordinating closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Legal, and Finance.

They also lead and mentor other buyers, orchestrating multiple workstreams and taking strategic decisions on critical packages.

1) Project Procurement Leadership

• Own the full procurement cycle for assigned packages: market screening, RFI/RFQ, bid clarification, technical/commercial alignment, cost breakdowns, negotiations, award, and post‑award contract management.

Through the delivery of high-quality secondary research, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases, and business or internal development initiatives.

You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on commercial, multi-industry and economic topics. Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

In Energy we cover the Oil and Power & Gas sectors, including all "Green Energy" and Social Impact, Climate and Sustainability sectors. What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Engineering, business administration, or related fields. Other quantitative disciplines (e.g., Mathematics, Physics) are also considered.
• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in research, analytical roles, or consulting environments within the Energy sector (Oil & Gas preferred).
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to handle sizeable datasets and conduct structured analyses.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). Exposure to Python and tools such as GitHub Copilot for research support, task automation, data processing, or AI API integration is a plus.
• Professional certification in AI/ML or Generative AI or equivalent hands-on experience will be a plus
• Demonstrated interest in business topics and structured problem-solving ability
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a collaborative, global team environment
• Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
