Accountabilities

• Follow-up issuing the letter of awards to the contractors and follow-up issuing the order for the stock controller to get the required materials that are supplied by ADIB for each project from the warehouse.

• Anticipate and identify deviations from a plan or schedule ahead and inform the project stakeholders.

• Identify, log, analyses and monitor potential and actual issues and risks and take corrective action within the delegated authority and review and escalate more serious issues and risks that might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.

• Monitor the needed resources (manpower, equipment, plant, material/ machinery, etc.) to direct and monitor the project operations, manage and control the project budget, review and approve cost reports and monitor progress with support from Project as well as involved parties.

• Coordinate with concerned sub contractor’s management to ensure that project specifications and requirements are understood and that project design documentation meets such requirements.

The Senior Architectural Engineer – Hospitality Specialist is responsible for leading the architectural design, coordination, and delivery of hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, and mixed-use developments. Role Description

We are seeking experienced Resident Engineers to oversee major bulk material handling, marine and port infrastructure projects in Southern Africa and Asia. In this role, you will manage day-to-day construction activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, and maintain quality and cost control. Responsibilities include on-site inspections, contract administration, subcontractor management, health and safety compliance, technical support, client coordination, progress reporting, and participation in project meetings.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering or site supervision
• Proven experience in contract administration and management, including interpreting contract terms, ensuring compliance, and managing variations, claims, and payment certifications

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer registration (PrEng/CEng or equivalent)
• Experience in port, coastal, or bulk material handling projects

Skills:
