Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Construction Site Supervisor based in Malacca, Malaysia. The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring that construction work aligns with project plans, budgets, and schedules. The role requires monitoring site activities, supervising workers and subcontractors, conducting inspections, and enforcing construction safety regulations. Communication and coordination will also be essential to maintain quality standards and solve on-site challenges effectively.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or related maintenance engineering discipline
• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan
• All ranges of experience will be considered; 2-4 years' experience in a reliability/maintenance engineering team based environment is preferred
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of basic maintenance principles, PMs, PdMs, BoMs, ODR, etc.
• MMP or CMRP would be considered an asset
• Experience with Oracle or other Maintenance Management systems would be considered an asset
• Related experience in potash or industrial setting is considered a strong asset

The Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting all of the automation equipment on the manufacturing floor. The Automation Tech is an important link between R&D product development and manufacturing of LMI’s product lines. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge in mechatronics and precision mechanical assemblies. Experience in optics is a bonus. Project duties include: automation maintenance and design, reviewing and providing feedback on team members’ designs, support and improvement of existing designs and first responder for manufacturing equipment support.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems across onshore operational assets. This includes rotating equipment, valves, and lifting devices. The role also involves coordinating daily activities, guiding technicians, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all mechanical systems within onshore facilities, including safety-critical equipment.
• Supervise routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and major overhauls while ensuring adherence to company procedures and industry standards.
• Coordinate maintenance work with other disciplines and departments to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, particularly Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, and address any deviations promptly.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Quality Inspectors to join an automation client in Cambridge, ON. This is an ongoing nuclear refurbishment project that is anticipated to last for at least 6 months. This person will be a Quality Inspector that will be inspecting aerospace parts (machining components, plating components, grippers, etc. - a wide range of parts that can be as a little as the palm of your hand or so big that a truck needs to come in a pick them up). The Quality Inspector will need to be able to learn about these parts instantly.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience in Quality Inspection Knowledge of blueprint reading (understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, etc.)

About the Role:
