The Opportunity

The Manager, People & Culture plays a key role in shaping and delivering an exceptional team experience at KITS.

Working closely with the VP, People & Culture, this role partners with leaders across the organization while managing the programs, processes, and systems that support our teams. This role operates in a dynamic environment supporting both corporate teams and hourly retail and manufacturing teams, requiring someone comfortable balancing operational excellence with people partnership.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offers

• Partner with hiring managers to support consistent and effective hiring practices

• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience

• Coach and support leaders on performance management, team development, and team relations

• Provide practical guidance to help leaders navigate challenges and build strong teams

• Manage and improve people programs that support engagement and performance

• Facilitate key processes such as bi-annual check-ins and annual performance reviews

• Manage internal communications related to people initiatives and resources

• Administer engagement surveys and share insights with leadership

• Serve as a subject matter expert for benefits and total rewards programs

• Partner with external providers and leadership on benefits administration, renewals, and reporting

• Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and the team handbook

• Ensure alignment with employment standards and evolving best practices

• Manage onboarding and exit processes, including orientation and exit interviews

• Partner with Office Coordinators across locations to support workplace operations, health, and safety

• Stay informed on People & Culture practices and recommend improvements to programs, policies, and team experience

Who You Are

• You bring 5+ years of experience in People Operations, People & Culture, or a similar people-focused role, with exposure to both operational people programs and leader partnership.
• You’ve supported leaders through performance management, team dynamics, and coaching conversations to help build strong teams.
• You have experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end, from posting roles and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and creating a positive candidate experience. You are open to using new tools and creative sourcing approaches to attract great talent.
• You understand employment practices and people operations best practices and apply them in ways that support both compliance and a positive team experience.
• You have an eye for thoughtful team experiences but the brain of a project manager and are able to design people initiatives while executing them with structure and attention to detail.
• You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and programs and ensuring people initiatives run smoothly.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried teams such as retail, manufacturing, or operational environments is an asset.
• CHRP or similar HR certification preferred but not required.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 – $108,000. Final salary will depend on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

About Our Client:

Our client is a growing metal fabricator and powder coating business in the Fraser Valley. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across a multi-divisional manufacturing firm.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who can ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and coordinate workflows across departments while supporting the company’s expansion into proprietary product manufacturing. This role focuses on optimizing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring seamless execution across all operational functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Execution & Process Improvement

• Support the transition from a 100% “make-to-order” job shop to a hybrid model that includes proprietary product manufacturing by ensuring operational readiness.
• Coordinate production planning, scheduling, and workflow across departments to maintain on-time delivery and efficient throughput.
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Work closely with engineering and leadership teams to support product prototyping and pilot production runs.

2. Multi-Divisional Operations Management

Metal Fabrication

• Oversee daily shop operations including laser cutting, forming, machining, and welding.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure quality and throughput targets are achieved.

Powder Coating

• Manage coating line scheduling, quality control, and finishing standards.
• Coordinate internal production priorities and external customer jobs.

Transportation & Logistics

• Coordinate fleet scheduling, deliveries, and material movement between divisions.
• Ensure efficient logistics operations to support production timelines.

3. Performance & Resource Management

Track operational KPIs including:

• Production throughput
• Labor efficiency
• On-time delivery
• Equipment utilization (OEE)

Support cost management initiatives by improving resource allocation, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows.

Assist senior leadership with operational reporting and performance analysis.

4. Team Leadership & Workforce Development

• Supervise and support production teams across fabrication, coating, and logistics operations.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide coaching and training to improve employee productivity and skill development.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience

• 7–10+ years in manufacturing or production operations, preferably in metal fabrication and industrial coatings environments.

Operational Expertise

• Experience managing production schedules, shop floor operations, and multi-department coordination.

Systems Knowledge

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for production planning, job tracking, and resource management.

Process Improvement

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Business Understanding

• Working knowledge of manufacturing cost structures including labor efficiency, material usage, and production costs.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or Business preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification considered an asset.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Pouch Operator sets up and operates pouch making machines that convert laminated films into pouches that meet or exceed customer quality specifications by performing the following duties. The position requires shift flexibility. 
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Ensure personal compliance with all company Quality System, Operational, and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including Safety and completes required documentation accurately and timely.
• Meets or exceeds prescribed job standards for line speeds, scrap and set-up times.
• Reports any necessary maintenance of the machine to the engineering department using a written work order.
• Reports any unsafe working conditions to the production supervisor.
• Participates in on-going training opportunities and supports a continuous quality improvement environment.
• housekeeping procedures.
• Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
• Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated
• Keeps the work area clean.
• Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Performs required quality testing on products produced, i.e. burst test, drop test, water table test, etc.
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as changing zipper cloth, dies, seal bars and punches.
• Assists and works cooperatively with assistant machine operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.
• Review work instructions and procedures that are applicable to the position.
• Other duties as assigned by management and supervisors.

The Automation Engineer is an important link between R&D product development and Manufacturing of LMI’s product lines. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge in mechatronics. With experience designing and building automated equipment and precision mechanical assemblies. Experience in optics is a bonus. 

Working as part of our global Technology (R&D) team, you will report to the Team Lead in the Automation Validation team and work at our Burnaby head office.

Typical Duties, Activities, Responsibilities

• Designs, supports, and implements new automated production equipment along with mechanical jigs and fixtures
• Designs and implements industrial control systems. This includes PLC programming and precision motion control systems. 
• Carries out validation experiments against ISO standards where possible to ensure process and product consistency
• Works with the sensor design team to smoothly roll out new product introductions to existing or new automation infrastructure
• Understands and utilizes the tools and processes defined by the group to effectively carry out project work
• Participates and leads regular design reviews and demonstrates strong adherence to checklist requirements
• Produces task list breakdown and priorities given by Team Lead
• Manages delivery expectations against key project milestones 
• Works closely with their team mitigating issues with solutions
• Employs a systematic data-driven approach to troubleshooting equipment and design problems both individually and with the team 
• Produces required technical documentation as directed by Team Lead
• Proactively contributes to and implements continuous improvement initiatives

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical/Controls Engineering/Technology
• 3-5 years working experience in a related field, with a focus on industrial controls and mechanical design 
• Experience with industrial controls design and PLC programming (Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc)
• Strong understanding of motion control systems and various industrial motion components (linear and rotary stages, stepper motors, servo motors, etc)
• Experience with industrial 6-axis robots is an asset
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software, EPDM and mechanical design principles particularly with respect to CNC-based precision part design
• Strong understanding of metrology in theory and application
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T or ISO GPS Standard
• Ability to interpret technical data sheets and electrical wiring diagrams to effectively design or troubleshoot mechatronic systems
• Familiarity with fundamental hand and machine shop tools is valued

Position Summary:

The Production Coordinator works closely with the production, sales, logistics and fit teams to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with local and overseas vendors
• Act as the key liaison between internal teams (sales, fit, logistics, production) and factories for multiple apparel styles and categories
• Manage production timelines related to customer orders to ensure deadlines are met
• Verify that all order information is accurate (fabrics, prints, sizes, measurements and garment details)
• Send production information and samples to factories
• Receive, sort, organize and distribute fit, pre-production and production samples
• Coordinate approvals across departments for fabrics, lab dips, strike offs, fittings and testing
• Monitor the status of all styles and follow up consistently with buyers, vendors and internal departments
• Track production progress, delivery schedules, booking confirmations and shipments
• Review and approve inspection reports received from vendors
• Maintain and update purchase orders and production reports essential to the production process
• Process and manage vendor chargebacks when required
• Ensure production purchase orders are received, updated and closed properly
• Identify and resolve any issues related to orders or production
• Support the training and development of junior production coordinators

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the fashion or apparel production industry
• Diploma (D.E.C.) in fashion, production, supply chain or a related field, or equivalent
• Knowledge of garment styles, fabrics, prints and the apparel production process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. English is required in order to communicate with clients and vendors outside of Quebec

Responsibilities:

Mentorship, Succession, The People side 

• Manage the Accounting and Payroll department, providing leadership, guidance, and support.

Financial Management

• Generate and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, inventory / production, and fixed assets.

Cost Analysis and Reporting

• Participate in strategic planning to support decision-making and business planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and experience managing cost of goods sold.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Traverse, and Rise would be an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing team members.

MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur is a new age emerging University offering Undergrad, Post Grad programs. MITVPU has been established by MAEER's MIT, Pune in 2023.

It has a sprawling 100 acre campus and the construction of additional buildings are in progress.

We are looking for eligible Ex- Serviceman to work as the Estate Manager of the campus.

• Estate Manager shall report to the Executive President or any person designated by him / her
• The core responsibility is to supervise the ongoing maintenance of the Campus and construction work at the site in coordination with site engineer, guide the maintenance team as per the Management’s directives, and supervise & establish an efficient system of material handling on the Campus.
• Shall Co-ordinate with the Principals, Project Manager / Registrar or the person designated by him, Head Office and Vendors.
• Shall be responsible for the upkeeping viz. Housekeeping / Maintenance activities and horticulture of the entire Premises
• Regular inspections of premises for cleanliness, toilet hygiene.
• Ensure that the Infrastructure, Buildings, Hostels, furniture, fixtures and

equipment is in good condition at all times.

• Ensure maintenance of Horticulture / Garden, Sports infrastructure and ground.
• Ensure that the electricity, water supply, sanitation systems and fire alarms are regularly inspected for efficiency and safety and ensure meet the standards prescribed by Government Departments and similar premises offered internationally.
• Ensure optimum and effective utilization of the Generator at all times so that the electricity costs are minimized as far as possible. Take necessary steps in effecting savings on electricity consumption and water supply.
• Ensure efficient transport arrangements for the students, staff and the guests.
• Ensure all compliances of the campus related to the scope of work and shall follow all applicable government rules and regulations.
• Over view entire canteen, cafeteria, hostel premises for hygiene, establish preventive management systems
• Provide support with regard to all maintenance and infrastructural arrangements.
• Ensure appropriate Scrap management systems on the campus
• Maintain and keep updated asset registers and inventories, at all times.
• Appropriate Indent system to reduce unnecessary stocks and storage.
• Maintain All Stock Registers to update the management whenever they have been asked for
• Ensure that inventory of all premises including Hostels, equipment and furniture is maintained and updated at all times.
• Security Management of Material and Men. To co-ordinate and oversee the campus’s security arrangements. To ensure adequate safeguards are available at premises so that children are in a safe and secure environment.
• Estate security including liaison with security contractors, preparation of security contract, periodic inspection of guards on duty, etc.
• Be responsible for overall Safety, fire safety precautions, fire drill, fire extinguishers, security arrangements, (In consent with Security In-charge), Health and Hygiene of the premises– Premises Infirmary operations (In consent with Hostel in-charge and Infirmary In-charge) pest control contracts, including the development of systems and procedures for all the above.
• Maintain a description of the premises buildings and grounds, and floor plans.
• Oversee and co-ordinate condemnation procedures.
• Co-ordinate and oversee arrangements required for events and functions at the premises.
• Oversee the cost savings through adequate planning and execution.
• Any other responsibilities assigned or Tasks requested by Management or the authorized person.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Ex-Servicemen preferably with Civil and Electrical Engineering background
• Min. 15 years of experience in administering large estates especially educational campuses.
• Computer skills
• Good at maintaining interpersonal relations in office and with outside stakeholders.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Marathi speaking will be an added advantage

MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC

• Xây dựng TCCS sản phẩm (nguyên liệu, bao bì, sản phẩm trung gian, bán thành phẩm, thành phẩm).
• Kiểm nghiệm mẫu: Mẫu sản xuất, mẫu độ ổn định, mẫu thẩm định...
• Quản lý thiết bị QC: Lập dự trù vật tư tiêu hao, vệ sinh thiết bị, theo dõi tình trạng sử dụng máy.
• Lập kế hoạch kiểm nghiệm mẫu.
