We're seeking an exceptional engineer to join Anthropic's Detection Platform team to build and scale our next-generation security analytics infrastructure. In this role, you'll architect and implement data pipelines that process massive amounts of security telemetry, develop ML-powered detection systems, and create innovative solutions that leverage Claude to transform security operations.
Responsibilities

About The Role
We're seeking an exceptional engineer to join Anthropic's Detection Platform team to build and scale our next-generation security analytics infrastructure. In this role, you'll architect and implement data pipelines that process massive amounts of security telemetry, develop ML-powered detection systems, and create innovative solutions that leverage Claude to transform security operations.
Responsibilities
- Build an AI-powered platform responsible for all aspects of detection and response capabilities, from detection development to incident response
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting and processing security telemetry across our rapidly growing infrastructure
- Architect solutions for storing and efficiently querying large volumes of security-relevant data
- Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new security tooling and analytics capabilities
- Work closely with security and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and growth of the Security team
- Participate in on-call rotations
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security, infrastructure, or data pipelines
- Track record of building and maintaining internal developer tools or security platforms
- Strong understanding of data processing pipelines and experience working with large-scale logging systems
- Experience with test-driven software development or CI/CD (a plus for direct experience with detection-as-code workflows)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with query optimization for large datasets
- Experience building stable and scalable services on cloud infrastructure and serverless architectures
- Ability to write maintainable and secure code in Python
- Experience working with security teams and translating requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to lead technical projects with minimal guidance
- Track record of driving engineering excellence through high standards, constructive code reviews, and mentorship
- Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives and navigate complex organizational dynamics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts effectively across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated success in bringing clarity and ownership to ambiguous technical problems

- Track record leading delivery and operation of multi-tenant backend systems in production environments
- Direct experience with Rust in production

This is a unique 12-month programme based on a permanent contract within UBP’s Wealth Management COO organization, with a mandate to deliver AI-enabled process improvements across our global WM operation. As a graduate, you will tackle complex challenges by leveraging advanced (AI) technologies and data analytics, focusing on real-world business cases that integrate GenAI and emerging technologies into front-to-back processes to enhance efficiency and quality. This multifaceted role offers opportunities in areas such as web application design, prompting, data analytics, business intelligence, and GenAI integration. Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by the Head of WM Reporting & Dashboards, based in Zurich, and supported through rotations across internal teams to provide a 360-view. The programme offers a
comprehensive learning experience, enabling you to gain valuable insights into the finance industry and develop essential skills for a successful career in private banking. You will join the COO Wealth Management organization, with your primary base in the WM Reporting & Dashboards Team located in Zurich.
1. AI enablement for Wealth Management processes
With the guidance of your line manager and subject-matter experts:
■ Identify, structure, and deliver high-impact use cases where GenAI and emerging technologies can improve efficiency, quality, and client experience across Wealth Management
■ Translate business needs into clear problem statements, success metrics, and delivery plans

Requirements

Over SOCOTEC Geotechnics
SOCOTEC Geotechnics is een ingenieursbureau gespecialiseerd in Geo- en milieutechniek. We voeren onderzoeken uit voor een breed scala aan bouwwerken, zoals funderingen van gebouwen, windturbines, bouwputten, infrastructuur, waterkeringen, bemalingen etc. We beschikken over de nodige onderzoekscapaciteit om grote en complexe projecten te uitvoeren, waaronder zelfs een eigen geotechnisch laboratorium. Ook zijn we gespecialiseerd in (complexe) geomonitoring. Op dit moment werken er zo’n 150 professionals bij SOCOTEC Geotechnics, die zijn verdeeld over de vestigingen in Rotterdam, Son en Breugel (Eindhoven), Almelo en Woubrugge.
Onze ingenieurs voeren werkzaamheden en adviezen uit op het gebied van geotechniek, bodemonderzoek, milieuonderzoek en monitoring. Wij beschikken over een eigen geotechnisch laboratorium waarmee wij de specifieke bodemeigenschappen van grondmonsters kunnen bepalen. Om deze werkzaamheden te kunnen uitvoeren beschikken wij over sondeerunits, boorunits en kleiner materieel

- Uitwerken en uitdragen van de visie rondom architectuur en security richtlijnen

We are expanding our Tech team with a Software Engineer based onsite in our office in Barcelona!
As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the backend systems that power Fast Track’s platform. Our infrastructure runs on AWS, orchestrated with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker, and leverages services such as Lambda, CloudFront, and Cloudflare for edge delivery and serverless workloads. Data is managed across MySQL, Amazon RDS Aurora, ClickHouse for analytics, and in-memory stores, including Amazon ElastiCache and MemoryDB.
