We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript-based web and mobile development, combined with solid experience designing and operating systems on AWS. This role is not limited to feature development. You will be expected to take ownership of system architecture decisions, contribute to infrastructure design, and ensure our applications are scalable, secure, and production-ready.

You will work across backend services, web applications, and mobile apps while actively shaping engineering standards, DevOps practices, and cloud architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
• Build modern web applications using ReactJS and NextJS
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Expo
• Design and implement clean, scalable RESTful APIs
• Integrate and manage databases using ORMs such as Sequelize, TypeORM, or Drizzle
• Implement caching and background processing using Redis
• Write automated tests, including workflow and end-to-end tests

Cloud Architecture & DevOps

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS
• Architect systems with high availability and fault tolerance
• Design VPCs, subnets, security groups, and networking architecture
• Manage compute services (EC2, ECS, or Lambda)
• Design and maintain RDS databases and caching layers
• Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot and optimize production performance issues
• Apply cost-optimization and security best practices in AWS

Engineering Excellence

• Follow and improve coding standards and architectural guidelines
• Participate actively in code reviews
• Propose and implement workflow and tooling improvements
• Collaborate using Git with proper branching strategies and well-documented merge requests
• Track tasks and priorities using ClickUp
• Take ownership of features from design to deployment

Job Requirement

• Min Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Preferable 3-5 years experience as a Programmer / Full Stack Developer.
• Positive, responsible, committed, independent, efficient and passionate about coding.
• Must be able to communicate well in English.

URMD is responsible to provide technical expertise to optimize unconventional resource development, focusing on reservoir characterization, modeling, and management.
