The Opportunity

The Vegetable Grower plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of allocated cropping programs. Reporting to the Agricultural Manager, this role combines crop management, applied agronomy, and commercial responsibility.

• Manufacture quality products following standard recipes and procedures under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Operations Supervisor.

Join Feed Iowa First as a temporary, part-time Vegetable Farmer! In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of our mission, working closely with our Farm Managers. Your responsibilities will include harvesting fresh produce, maintaining fields and equipment, and supporting our community distribution efforts. You’ll collaborate with over 30 growing partners, including both urban farms and rural farmers, to help us combat food insecurity and promote sustainable agriculture. Key Responsibilities:

· Planting, Harvesting, Field, and Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular harvesting of crops, maintain field conditions, and ensure all farming equipment is in good working order.

What You'll Be Doing?

• Conducts in-departmental formulation, laboratory, stability and production trials studies regarding the development of new products and changes in existing products (cost reduction studies, essence changes, etc.) based on the demands of the marketing and private brands units.

What Do We Expect From Our New Team Member?

1. Data Lake & Architecture Setup and Management

• Build a centralized data lake integrating all enterprise sources (SAP, SQL, PI, Excel, etc.)
• Manage data transfer, modeling, and access using Microsoft Fabric tools
• Design reusable semantic models tailored to business unit needs

2. Self-Service BI & Data Provisioning

• Provide self-service data access through tools like Power BI and Jupyter
• Oversee data security and user authorization in access layers
• Establish training and support processes to enhance data literacy

3. Data Governance & Quality

• Define data ownership, dictionaries, and catalog structures
• Promote a single verified source of truth
• Create and monitor quality metric frameworks to identify and track data issues

4. Data Intelligence & Analytics

• Mature analytics project ideas within the organization
• Lead reporting and ETL development activities
• Conduct business analysis processes with internal teams

What Kind of Team Member Are We Looking For?

• Successfully integrated 10+ data sources to establish a centralized Data Lake
• At least 6 years of experience in the relevant field
• Enabled self-service access for over 150 business users
• Automated data cataloging processes, increasing usage and delivering measurable results
• Previously developed an analytics roadmap and embedded data strategy into company culture at the executive level
• Very good written and spoken English knowledge

What are we looking for in this position?

• To carry out the necessary controls, inspections and evaluations to ensure that the contractor company serving in the food production areas of Ford OTOSAN acts in accordance with the food and hygiene rules.
• To establish the control mechanism that will ensure the proper operation of the kitchen, dining hall, cafeteria and to follow the contract requirements.
• To carry out the expenses control and progress payment processes in relation to the operation for which is responsible.
• To take part in the coordination and distribution works that fall under the responsibility of the Administrative Affairs Leadership. (Distribution and follow-up of bulletins and announcements, company gifts etc. given to commemorate the new year and important days)
• Planning and coordinating the preparation and follow-up of Social Organizations.
• To evaluate employee suggestions aimed at increasing employee engagement and to implement those that are appropriate.
• To make arrangements, including coordination between other Ford Otosan locations, regarding administrative operations
• Contributing to the engagement survey conducted every year within the scope of administrative affairs services, making survey analysis and taking needed action plan.
• To perform all of the above-mentioned tasks or other tasks that the Administrative Affairs Leader will choose from the above items and/or that are not written but require follow-up.

Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Graduate degree in Food Engineering,
• Preferably minimum 2 years of experience in Catering,
• Strong communication skills and having continuous improvement perspective
• Strong creativeness, analytical and reporting skills
• Eagerness to learn and inclined to teamwork.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre design principles.
• Undertake mechanical design elements for major data centre projects.
• Collaborate closely with general contractors, other engineers, architects, and project management teams.
• Manage the production of drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical reports and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of others, ensuring effective collaboration with engineers of other disciplines and project managers.
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  
  
  

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
• Extensive experience in data centre design, including a proven track record on medium to large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver mechanical engineering solutions for major projects, specifically data centres.
• Experience leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
• A strong understanding of balancing engineering priorities on diverse projects.
• Proven ability to quickly develop successful client relationships.
