  • Description: Responsible for directing OEM programs for Tesla and Rivian with 6 to 7 variants each for thermo-components (Coolant plates, Electrical Oil Pumps, Electromagnetic Coils and 4Drive units). • Tesla re-localized all operations to North America, I was responsible for developing all Spanish-speaking suppliers from the SOR through the BOM delivery, completing the process 2 months ahead of time. Once the supply chain was established, I was given responsibility for the full programs that ran through those suppliers. repeated the feat for Rivian. • When the launch management team was missing deadlines I built relationships, examined processes, streamlined production facilities and purchasing, and created a Launch Readiness Flowchart for the team to follow. Within six weeks I had secured all necessary approvals and brought the team into on-time delivery of their launches. • In coordination with a global team, developed a template for interviewing customers in order to streamline their DFA/DFM process. We went from needing 2-3 months of 2 meetings per week, with machine re-builds in between, to completing the process in 2-3 meetings total. • Negotiation with purchasing suppliers to meet cost reduction of 10% of the piece price • Created a plan for machine profitability, reducing 25% of the cost of four pieces of equipment for manufacturing the Tesla automobile • Developed a plan, then negotiated with and managed vendors to deliver and install machinery for Tesla, cutting 12% off the original timeline while remaining on budget • Changed processes and suppliers to save 2-3% on the cost of materials on two different projects, for Rivian and for Tesla • Changed equipment to streamline production, enabling Tesla, and later Rivian, to use the same machinery for multiple prototypes, reducing design and tooling costs by 20% and cutting one month or more in retooling processes from each prototyping cycle
