• Description: Hired as a Linux system administrator I've started cleaning up and documenting the in-house server setup. I led the migration of a few racks of servers to only a bunch of big hosts. We also switched to Debian and only used open source components like Xen or Puppet. I also introduced new project management methods and tools like git and Redmine. On the development side, I've refactored two of the main in-house developed business applications (production and distribution of Audio CDs) and maintained another one. This was mostly triggered by the replacement of a tape robot with a NAS. I've been leading the evaluation and configuration of this high availability setup.
