Industry Engagement Manager - Airlines at Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

• Description: Serves as the Industry Engagement Manager for the US Airlines in the TSA Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement. Responsible for being the primary voice and liaison between the TSA and the commercial air carriers on all matters relating to aviation security policy and information sharing. Works directly with the Corporate Security Directors from the largest US carriers (American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines) on matters relating to aviation security policy and procedures. Responsible for quality control of Security Directives and Emergency Amendments that change or alter the security baseline for domestic and international flights as well as any changes made to the Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP) and 49 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) – Transportation. Represents the TSA Administrator and Senior Leadership Team at national conferences and symposiums as a subject-matter-expert on security policy in the aviation field. Participates aviation industry association meetings involving TSA such as Airlines for America (A4A), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), and Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA). Authors aviation security memorandums and issue papers for the TSA Administrator in advance of meetings with airline Chief Executive Officers, Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents and Chief Operating Officers. Facilitates all intelligence sharing between the TSA and private industry through in-person classified briefings, classified teleconferences and the Aviation Domain Intelligence and Analysis Cell (ADIAC). In addition, coordinates with TSA field elements to provide timely and accurate intelligence information to passenger and cargo carriers that would directly impact their air or supply chain operations.
