This role is critical in optimizing underground ore control processes, ensuring accurate orebody delineation, and upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: Foster a safe and incident-free underground work environment by ensuring strict adherence to company safety standards and regulatory compliance.

• Ore Control & QA/QC Management: Develop, supervise, and implement underground ore control plans following the industry’s best practices. Oversee underground sampling, face mapping, analysis, and QA/QC protocols to maintain data integrity and reliability. Provide technical guidance to improve ore control strategies, drilling, and sampling techniques. Update and maintain underground geological databases and models.

• Production Monitoring: Conduct underground face mapping, monitor ore development headings, and provide timely geological inputs to mine operations. Collaborate with mine planners and production teams to ensure alignment of development and stope designs with geological models.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Use 3D geological software to analyze underground geological data and provide actionable insights. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in underground mining, preferably in gold operations.

• Technical Skills: Expertise in underground QA/QC procedures, underground drilling methods, face mapping, and sampling practices. Proficiency in 3D geological software (e.g., Datamine, Micromine, or similar).

• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

We are partnering with a newly established, high‑performance quantitative trading pod seeking an entrepreneurial Lead Software Engineer to architect, build, and scale the core trading technology from the ground up. This is a rare greenfield opportunity to own the full stack for a global, systematic equities trading platform while working directly with an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager.

Role Overview

About the Client:

We are looking for a Senior MLOps & Cloud Engineer who can design, automate, and operate the cloud infrastructure required for scalable AI systems, including LLM gateways, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.

You will work closely with AI Engineers and Architects to productionize solutions, implement observability and guardrails, optimize cost/performance, and ensure enterprise-grade reliability and security.
