Regular Responsibilities

• Scope and Define tasks: Test and sample arrangement follow priority which to meet the delivery deadline for production or R&D product.

• Tool Operation: Operate microscope, mini-chamber, MST(Media Servo Tester), blade tester, also to ensure high-quality test is perform.

• Work in production line to support and implement the validation for NPI and process change

Job Purpose

Lead and manage the engineering design, development, and delivery of topsides facilities for offshore platforms or FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) units, with a focus on process systems and instrumentation. Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Management

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, Petroleum, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.

Experience

• 15+ years in offshore oil & gas energy sectors, with at least 5 years in upstream projects.
• Proven track record in managing topsides facilities projects for offshore platforms or FPSOs, with a strong focus on process and instrumentation engineering.
• Experience with FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) phases for platforms or FPSOs, including process design and instrumentation.

• Guide the team to carry out scanning and evaluation of Advanced Materials, and other adjacent technology areas (e.g. Nuclear Fission and Fusion, Synthetic Biology, etc.). The candidate will also be responsible for the assessment and development of the technologies for Dual-Use applications.
• Establish a supporting R&D ecosystem including local and global start-ups, technology vendors, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), Research Institutes (RIs) and relevant governmental agencies to demonstrate strategic and innovative solutions (products and services) that will meet business objectives.
• Strategic planning of R&D efforts that lead to business impact, working closely with business units to demonstrate the potential of Advanced Materials, and to integrate both technology and use cases into their business strategy and product roadmaps.
• Influence development of solutions, including the active management of projects. across multiple business units to achieve strategic goals and/or to deliver business results.
• Work closely with ST Engineering’s Technology Offices and R&D community in recommending capital investments designed to help its business objectives.
• Communicate with senior executive leadership (internally or client) regarding Materials trends and roadmaps, application to business and/or any other matters of importance to the organisation as part of the Group Technology Office.
  
  

• Degree or advanced degree in material science, chemical and biological engineering or related fields of study with a deep understanding of material applications.
• Experience in advanced technology research, technology transfer, strategy development and road-mapping will be advantageous
• Analytical minded with exceptional project management and organization skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
