We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a CAD DRAFTER to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.

Job Description

Working as part of an expanding team and reporting to the principal surveyor/operations manager. You will work closely with other CAD Drafter(s) and Asbestos surveyors on a wide variety of projects to deliver completed 2D AutoCAD/ VISIO drawings to produce floor plans, elevations and also topographical drawings. The role will also entail providing drafting support to other disciplines within the business.

Qualifications

High level of competency and experience using AutoCAD (and other Autodesk products) and VISIO ideally within a building survey-based environment.
Experience with the production of 2D drawings.
Knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to Asbestos surveys.
Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to check drawings put together by the surveyors.
Working knowledge of layering, external references, coordinate grids, datums and sheeting up drawings.
Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
