The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Junior Architect to join our Ho Chi Minh City team. You will be responsible for bringing architectural concepts to life whilst considering technical functionality.
Duties include:
- Develop concept designs by both hand and CAD application
- Interpret and apply regulatory and statutory framework to work
- With the team, determine client requirements for building projects
- Under guidance, develop and present client proposals and project updates
- Perform site visits to ensure work is done according to architectural plans
- Work with the team to undertake feasibility studies, identifying site constraints and opportunities
- Contribute to construction documentation packages
- Preparing accurate, consistent architectural drawings as part of a small working team
- Receiving and understanding detailed markup from project architects and ensuring accurate and careful implementation
- Taking responsibility for the drawings, being aware of any problems or mistakes
- Working well with team members in a relaxed but professional environment
- Manage your own time to complete tasks to deadline, or communicate any issues
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors’ degree in Architecture
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an architectural studio environment
- Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD)
- Good drafting and graphic presentation skills
- Solid communication, whether written, visual, or verbal
