We are seeking a seasoned General Manager, Offshore Execution to lead the front-end engineering design (FEED), certification, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale offshore wind projects. This role is critical to ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input on bidding and EPC contractor selection.
- Oversee preparation of tender materials and manage the full EPC bidding process.
- Identify and evaluate contractors and suppliers for design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with technical, financial, and HSE requirements.
- Develop and maintain milestone plans for project execution.
- Lead and manage Package Managers (WTG, Cable, Foundation, Substation) to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery.
- Establish resource plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor EPC planning and proactively address deviations.
- Manage project interfaces and mitigate risks.
- Select fabrication yards and marshalling ports.
- Ensure quality assurance through inspections and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore EPCI project management (preferably offshore wind, or large-scale infrastructure/oil & gas).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex international projects.
- In-depth knowledge of offshore wind development, procurement processes, and commercial aspects.
- Excellent English proficiency.
