The extravaganza, presented for 47 years, is the oldest all-fly angling event east of the Mississippi! The show is organized and run by MFFC volunteers. It features free seminars about flyskills, casting, techniques and destinations. We have free casting and fly tying seminars. Exhibitors include outfitters and retailers from across the country. You can see fly tying materials, waders, rod, reels, net building artisans, artists, authors, dealers in rare and collectible books and memorabilia and conservation organizations. Best of all, because the 53-year-old MFFC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, proceeds from the Expo flow right back to support the Club’s educational programs and to fund a variety of grants conservation organizations across the state to restore and enhance Michigan’s rivers and lakes.
