Business Analyst

Job Description

We are hiring a Business Analyst to serve as a vital link between our business teams and IT department, driving the analysis and documentation of business requirements to deliver effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes, translate needs into clear specifications, and support the successful implementation of system applications.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively drive requirement analysis and work with stakeholders to prepare specifications
• Communicate between stakeholders and the development team to manage resources allocation and project scheduling
• Be accountable for the successful delivery of new enhancements and provide operational support for the application system
• Develop project plans, negotiate with stakeholders, and dynamically schedule as per changes in business needs, identifying project issues with anticipation to address them
• Manage projects, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion
• Evaluate business processes, analyse requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
• Prepare test cases and plans as well as user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Perform UAT, ensuring solutions meet the defined business needs and requirements.
• Prepare and deliver user training
• Prepare the roll-out plans and mitigate the identified risks 
• Coordinate roll-out and provide post-implementation support
• Collaborate with external business partners for continuous development of new solutions for the application system
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users, effectively communicating and presenting insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Host and present in regular meetings for project progress updates with stakeholders
• Document project progress updates and follow up with outstanding issues
• Perform other ad-hoc projects and tasks as per business needs

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business computing, information system or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Experience in creating and delivering persuasive presentations
• A track record of following through on commitments
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to articulate and communicate project updates and issues
• Problem-solving capacity to identify and address core issues in projects
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects
• Exposure to Smart or AI project initiatives is highly desirable
• Eagerness to stay current with AI trends and explore their potential business applications
