The Senior Infrastructure Wet Utilities Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all site activities related to wet utilities—including potable water networks, TSE/irrigation networks, stormwater drainage, foul sewer systems, pumping stations, chambers, and associated infrastructure works. The role ensures compliance with design specifications, project schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily construction activities for wet utility networks (water supply, sewerage, drainage, firefighting, irrigation/TSE).
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, network alignments, profiles, and hydraulic details.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight potential risks or delays.
- Conduct inspections of pipelines, manholes, chambers, and associated works.
- Enforce site safety plans and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Supervise pressure testing, leakage testing, CCTV inspections, deflection tests, manhole testing, and final commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Infrastructure/Utilities focus preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and wet utilities construction.
- Proven experience with water, sewer, stormwater, and TSE/irrigation networks.
- Strong understanding of local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, ADWEA, Ashghal, RTA, ARAMCO, KAHRAMAA—depending on region).
