The company's expertise in yeast products supports producers, feedmills, integrators, veterinarians, nutritionists, pet food manufacturers, premix companies, and other key stakeholders.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive business development, market expansion, and sales performance in the U.S. animal nutrition sector. This is a remote-based role with national travel, and we are targeting senior professionals with strong industry networks and proven experience in feed ingredient sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in the U.S. animal nutrition market.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with feedmills, integrators, producers, veterinarians, nutritionists, pet food manufacturers, premix companies, and other industry stakeholders.
- Promote and provide technical support for yeast-derived feed ingredients, demonstrating practical knowledge of their application in animal health and nutrition.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple animal categories.
- Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and R&D teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in feed ingredient sales, with a strong preference for candidates experienced with yeast-based products.
- Extensive U.S. industry connections and a proven track record of building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally (40–50%).
