Responsibilities
- Assist the team in maintaining the risk data warehouse of the bank on user’s perspective.
- Facilitate in organizing and executing BAU Change Request Life cycle of the risk data warehouse.
- Handle data assessment requests, production issues and adhoc tasks raised from upstream systems and downstream systems in a timely and prioritized way.
- Participate in projects on user’s perspective and liaise with IT and external vendors on system development projects in order to fulfill the purpose and roadmap of risk data warehouse.
- Assist in the implementation of Fintech projects / initiatives of the Division
- Identify use cases, participate the Fintech workgroup / Data Quality meetings and support partnership development
Requirements
- University graduate/post-graduate in Risk Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Quantitative Analysis or related discipline.
- Ideally 2-4 years' practical experience relating to risk management, or risk data warehouse in the banking or finance industry
- Knowledge of Basel requirements such as BCBS 239 and other regulatory requirement is an advantage.
- Understanding of team’s direction with ability to solve problem independently, good documentation skills and completion of tasks within agreed timeline.
- Knowledge of SAS/SQL or other data analysis tools will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
