Welcome to PASAA on LinkedIn! The purpose of this association is to provide a networking, professional development, and social forum to engage across all aspects of public administration. Membership is open to current and past students of the University of New Orleans // Masters of(UNO-MPA) program and serves as a bridge between academia and the field of practice in public service. We prioritize building and strengthening relationships amongst current students, program alumni, faculty & staff, and colleagues working or studying in related fields.

A graduate Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree is available for students who wish to continue their education beyond the undergraduate level. The MPA degree is an accredited, terminal professional degree offered by the School to qualified students. The degree curriculum provides a foundation of required course work and, additionally, permits the selection of complementary courses and seminar work that may be oriented toward an emphasis in more specific areas of administration.

The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Section on Public Administration Education (SPAE) contributes to the professional development of practitioners and academics by: increasing awareness of public administrationeducational issues; providing a forum for information exchange among members in regard to innovative curricula and pedagogical approaches across a wide range of topics; fostering a relationship between ASPA and the Journal of Public Affairs Education and the Journal of Teaching Public Administration; sponsoring the annual TeachingConference. The mission of the Graduate Association of Students in Public Policy and Administration (GASPPA) is to provide support to the Masters of Public Policy and Administration(MPPA) and Masters of Urban and Land Development programs at California State University, Sacramento.
