Join us for an exciting evening with Hycee Cabael, a Chicago native, CPS 5th grade teacher, and local angler. Hycee is known for introducing students and community members to fishing, contributing to local programs, and leading two popular Chicago angling groups with 7,400+ members. She will share practical tips on salmon and perch techniques, including effective baits, rigging, gear, conditions, and her power line setup. Teach, Learn, and Celebrate. Our second speaker will be Jim “The Crappie Professor” Kopjo, one of the Midwest’s most respected crappie experts, delivering a dynamic presentation drawn from over 30 years on the water and two decades of teaching and speaking experience. Jim will share a forward‑looking overview of Heidecke, Shabbona, and Evergreen Lakes, along with practical open‑water crappie tactics you can use immediately to improve your catch rates, making this must‑attend session a powerful blend of tournament insight, technical knowledge, and real‑world instruction for anglers of all levels. Two of Chicago’s most knowledgeable and community‑focused anglers come together as RiversideClub brings another excellent program to Berwyn on February 12, 2026. GUESTS ALWAYS WELCOME! No reservations needed — pay at the door. A monthly $5.00 guest fee applies. If you become a member, RFC will credit any guest fees you’ve paid within the last year toward your membership. New member dues are prorated bi monthly after the April meeting.
