Description

This is a general summary of the responsibilities associated with the position of a Aquaculture Specialist, in support of the EPA-Operations and Maintenance of the ORD Vivarium and Veterinary Services Contract. This description is not all-inclusive of the duties required to successfully complete the job daily. It is intended to reflect Team MPF’s contractual obligations. Employees are expected to complete all assigned duties each day as directed by management.

Responsibilities of this position are that of an Aquaculture Specialist. These responsibilities include all activities required for the proper care, handling and maintenance of on-site animals, equipment, and facilities.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Unless otherwise directed by a manager, all employees are expected to perform their duties as assigned, arrive to work at 7:00am and depart at 4:00 pm. (Monday through Friday). Employees are required to work on the weekends and holidays as scheduled. The weekend/holiday hours are from 7:00am-11:00am.

Employees are expected to be familiar with the day-to-day activities, personnel and daily schedules within the facilities. Team MPF expects each of our employees to be forward thinking and to create and assist in quality performance and contract requirements.

The primary duties for a Aquaculture Specialist are listed below:

· Read, comprehend and follow all project SOP’s and Performance Standards.

· Perform daily animal health and water quality checks and report any abnormal animal or water quality conditions to the appropriate veterinary technician, supervisor, and/or veterinarian.

· Dispose of dead animals according to project SOP’s and policies.

· Ensure excellent animal care by providing cultured Artemia and other feed as directed by the Attending Veterinarian.

· Ability to read/understand and implement breeding schedules.

· Maintain daily animal census sheets, room equipment, water quality and other forms according to project SOP’s.

· Clean and sanitize animal facility, change filters and other related items in order to maintain water quality and fish health/welfare according to project SOP’s.

· Maintain and monitor water quality and support equipment.

· Provide appropriate tanks and environment for incoming juveniles/ new lines according to project SOP’s.

· Provide handling/restraint and manipulation of various animal species including fish.

· Identify and author needed technical procedures.

· Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.; bend, stoop, climb and stand for a prolong period.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Role Description

The purpose of this position is to provide safe, efficient, and professional wildland fire suppression and wildfire mitigation and preparedness operations working under the direction of the Type 2 Wildfire Crew Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Forestry / Type 2 Wildfire Crew Member is accountable for:

• Maintaining individual job safety


• Maintaining individual and crew equipment fire line readiness

Zamberlan USA, Inc. (Carlsbad, CA, “Zamberlan North America”) is hiring a full-time, remote customer service associate reporting to its Carlsbad, CA headquarters. The position will cover an open Direct-to-Consumer Service Desk covering both the USA and Canada markets. Details follow below:

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve customer service cases arising through our Zendesk customer service channels, including Talk (telephone), Chat, and Email related to both D2C consumer business support as well as support of consumers buying through wholesale channels.
• Lead the management and execution of the company’s Warranty Process.
• Support initiatives to streamline DTC related processes, from sizing charts, return requests, warranty requests, and other topics related to the consumer experience within our DTC sales channels.
• Collaborate with team members in DTC platform improvements, including ERP integrations, site updates, policy changes, and other DTC platform initiatives towards streamlining service business processes.
• Help lead the effort to transform CX service outcomes on Zamberlan North America's new e-commerce platform (mid-2026).
• Lead payment case resolutions, including chargeback disputes, fraud prevention, and discovery work.
• Communicate all consumer-related issues of import to the General Manager on a timely basis.
• Participate in company functions from time to time (e.g., annual holiday party, sales meetings, et cetera).

Skills Overview:

• Candidates should be ready to demonstrate skills for handling consumer-related service matters, including telephone communications, email communications, and problem-solving capacities.
• Strong computer skills and experience in ZenDesk customer service software, NetSuite ERP software, and Shopify e-commerce platforms is preferred, but not required. Microsoft Office as well as moderate to strong typing skills.
• Prior experience in customer service roles within consumer goods companies is preferred, as is experience either working within Outdoor Industry brands, or familiarity with the outdoor consumer, be it in the backpacking, hiking, alpine mountaineering, hunting, wildland firefighting, forestry, arboriculture, and/or logging verticals.
• Strong language skills in English are required. Language skills in French are highly valued but not required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Other Information:

Zamberlan USA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes health, dental, and life insurance as well as other corporate benefits. Final pay will depend on the applicant’s level of experience and skills, with the position being full-time, non-exempt and paying a minimum of $27.50 per hour. Overtime may be required in accordance with applicable state and federal law. The position will report to Zamberlan USA’s General Manager and is fully remote (periodic travel to our California office). Work hours will be from 8am to 5pm in employee’s home time zone.
