The Construction Safety Roundtable of Eastern Massachusetts and the ASSP Greater Boston are proud to support: OSHA Region 1 CSP, the Braintree Area Office in conjunction with its Allianceses have regularly scheduled Safety Training Standdown Days. The topics are to be covered between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:30 am. During the allotted time frame of the "Safety Training Days," each participating company will designate an individual to provide a group safety training component involving employees on their project/location. In addition, conduct a thorough inspection and track the number of items inspected as part of the event. Participating organizations will be asked to document the training via their own internal attendance sheets and complete a course evaluation to assist in determining of the effectiveness of this event. Please coordinate the totals for your facility/location and have one course evaluation completed per facility/location: A SurveyMonkey.com link will be assigned to each event and announced accordingly which will be available for 30 days after the scheduled event. Most facility operations require their use and all employees must be trained in recognizing the hazards associated with the equipment, but still electrical citations were two of the “OSHA top ten violations” last year.
