Founded in 1998, diSiac Dance Company has grown to become one of the most widely respected and acclaimed groups on campus at Princeton University. With a strong focus in both hip-hop and lyrical/contemporary dance styles, we nevertheless strive to push the limits of performance and movement beyond categorization. diSiac is one of two student-run danceat Princeton that has had the honor ofin the professional Berlind Theatre thus far. diSiac is the first student-run dance company to participate in the Student Artist-in-Residence Program through Richardson Auditorium. Our bi-annual shows aim to achieve exceptional creativity through a variety of styles. We are also committed to hosting a variety of guest workshops with leading choreographers every semester. Our diSi-fans, drawn in by the entertainment that our shows promise, consistently fill our large venues. diSiac is proud of our dancers who come from a variety of backgrounds, from having no previous dance experience to professional level training. Our dancers also engage in a wide range of campus activities including varsity athletics, community service, other performing, etc. diSiac wholeheartedly supports all of our diSi-alumni, some of whom now dance professionally. SRUTI, The India Music and Dance Society is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization based in the Philadelphia region and founded in 1986. SRUTI is a volunteer-run organization. Its leadership comprises an elected Board of Directors and several committees. SRUTI publishes an annual magazine Sruti Ranjani and a periodical, Sruti Notes. Every year, around 10 or more world class music and dance recitals are presented during the Spring and Fall seasons by SRUTI in the Greater Philadelphia area including the City, Suburbs and the State of Delaware. SRUTI also collaborates with other presenting organizations like the Painted BrideCenter, Kimmel Center forArts, Annenberg center at University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Montgomery County Community College and other Indian cultural organizations. World renowned Artists who have performed for SRUTI in the past include, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Lalgudi Jayaraman, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, M Balamurali Krishna, Hariprasad Chaurasia, K.J.Jesudas, Sudha Raghunathan, Veena Sahasrabuddhe, L. Subramanian, Mandolin Srinivas and Chitravina Ravikiran. In addition we have presented several Danceand individuals – Kalakshetra Dance Group, Nrityagram, Dhananjayans, Kathakali institutes - Kalamandalam, Sadanam and Margi, Alarmel Valli and Priyadarshini Govind. SRUTI has received generous grants from private foundations and public organizations including the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Dance Advance and Philadelphia Music Project (funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts) and the Sam Fels Foundation in addition to a loyal and appreciative audience.

MGM is a non-for profit society dedicated to enlarge the recognition of music, arts and culture by producing and bringing musical, operatic, artistic and cultural performances. This group is an alternative for those professional opera singers and classical musicians looking to perform but have been rejected by bigger operaor orchestras for reasons not related to their professional level and who know they need to keep practicing their skills to maintaing a professional level. We are based in Toronto, Canada but this group is open for any opera singer and classical musician in the world. We want to have enough talent to be able to produce enough concerts or recitals not only in Canada but wherever we find enough talent and resources to produce concerts or recitals. We also provide instructional seminars on topics related to the vocal musicspecially in using and developing the right Bel Canto technique. At MGM, we strongly support the diversity and we welcome and appreciate the gay community and other community endeavors and programs that benefit the culture and the arts.

Marvin Sands, founder of Canandaigua Wine Company, realized the important role that the arts and culture play in the quality of a community. In 1982, he along with other community leaders founded the Finger Lakes PerformingArts Center, which is located on the Finger Lakes Community College campus. In early 2005, a group of community leaders met with Richard Sands, Chairman of Constellation Brands, and Rob Sands, President & CEO of Constellation Brands, to discuss how his leadership along with others in the community might pull together in continuing Marvin's dream and ensuring that the center "would not go dark." It was then that Constellation took a leadership role in forming the Friends of the CMAC, a not-for-profit 501(c ) (3) organization. This group worked together to keep the "center's lights on." The Friends are local, organizations, individuals and public officials who have invested their time, talent, and expertise in keeping the music alive in our region. Newly renovated in 2006, this $13.5 million facility is the result of a privately-funded undertaking through the sale of 54 VIP boxes. Constellation Brands secured the naming rights. This state-of-the-art facility nurtures the arts for our community and provides the ultimate venue for music and entertainment.
