This site is dedicated to all forms of collaboration for those interested in the leadership-as-practice (L-A-P) movement. By collaboration we mean establishing partnerships in research and practice, in the latter instance by sharing results of studies in the field, by initiating works-in-progress among potential collaborators, by promoting doctoral research in this new field, and by undertaking applications of L-A-P in multipleacross sectors to determine how it may be developed. Research-wise, we seek partnerships to compare L-A-P with other approaches in the fields of leadership and practice, to challenge the fundamental assumptions underlying both the ontology and epistemology of the L-A-P movement, to differentiate dialogic patterns from material elements that constitute leadership in action, to challenge the, philosophical, critical, and ideological foundations of L-A-P, and to investigate the processes of L-A-P using a variety of methodologies. Although we believe that leadership constitutes immanent collective action, ours is an ecumenical approach to practice. Thus, at times it may refer to routine activities; at others times, it suggests a more perpetually unfolding dynamic. When we associate leadership with practice, we think of it as not only material-discursive but shared or collective. The parties to the practice engage in semiotic, often dialogical, exchange. The leadership-as-practice approach resonates with a number of closely related traditions, such as collective, shared, distributed, and relational leadership. What these approaches have in common is their push for a line of inquiry that differentiates from a focus on traits, behaviors, abilities, or competencies in a way to gain a deeper knowledge of leadership as a social phenomenon. Distinctively, L-A-P focuses on processes whereby things, such as humans and their agency and socio-material elements, co-constitute as an unfolding set of fluid emergent practices.

The World Archaeological Congress (WAC) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization and is the only representative world-wide body of practising archaeologists. WAC seeks to promote interest in the past in all countries, to encourage the development of regionally-based histories and to foster international academic interaction. Its aims are based on the need to recognise theand social roles as well as the political context of archaeology, and the need to make archaeological studies relevant to the wider community. WAC is an international forum for discussion for anyone who is concerned with the study of the past. WAC holds an international Congress every four years to promote: the exchange of results from archaeological research; professional training and public education for disadvantaged nations, groups and communities; the empowerment and support of Indigenous groups and First Nations peoples; and the conservation of archaeological sites.

The Alliance, organized in 1960 under sponsorship of the Ohio Historical Society, is composed of local historical societies, historic preservation groups, history museums, archives, libraries, and genealogical societies throughout the state involved in collecting, preserving, and interpreting Ohio's history. The organization works with local historical organizations, museums, historic, archives, historians, and more to support the work of local history across Ohio.

Wine for Life members share a love of wine and its role in enriching their life. Their common goal is to continue to explore the world of wine and share their knowledge and experience with others through group events in Canada. Some members will join group leader Steve Thurlow on wine, food and cultural exploration travel to the wine producing regions of the world to discover wine's role in other cultures. Such trips introduce group members to the people that grow the grapes, make the wine, prepare the cuisine and live an enriched life as a result. The trips give club members private access to wineries not open to the public, often sharing a meal with winery owners. Visits to, wildlife reserves and other cultural activities are also included.
