At the RERC on Telerehabilitation, we investigate the value and effectiveness of rehabilitation services delivered to consumers in their homes, workplaces and communities. The RERC TR aims at extending the reach of rehabilitation systems to meet the needs of people with disabilities capacity building projects in areas such as cognitive andrehabilitation and prevention and management of secondary conditions. Ra’ad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex was established under the laws of Islamic Republic of Iran in 1984 (Reg. No.2811). RRGC is a private charity institution, dedicated solely to promote the cause of the physically disabled community. The institution started its activities with five applicants in a temporarily donated premise of two small rooms at a charity medical clinic, located in a low income suburb, south of Tehran. RRGC now operates from its own building, a nearly 4,000 m2 (in excess of 40,000 sq.ft.) facility, constructed on a parcel of land measuring 2,800 sq m. to which RRGC holds the title deed. As an educational, philanthropic and charitable institution, Ra'ad offers three broad areas of services including: Rehabilitation (physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy, orthopedic and daily mental health care) Vocational training (computer programming and operation, hardware assembly, typing, civil and industrial drafting, accounting, home appliance repairs, sewing, sculpture, flower making and pottery) And a variety of auxiliary or support services including honorary loans, financial grants, in-house and referral medical services by volunteer physicians, transportation to and from a downtown station, library facilities, counseling services, social work assistance, home visits and marriage counseling

ELEM was founded in 1982 by a group of American and Israeli professionals and lay volunteers to help Israel’s population of at-risk youth become productive citizens. Through the years, ELEM has grown and now operates programs in 40 towns nationwide, with a variety of innovative and relevant programs targeted toward different population groups. ELEM reaches out to all populations of troubled, “invisible” youth, including Arabs, Ultra Orthodox, young sex offenders, and immigrants from the Former Soviet Union and Ethiopia. Youth of all ages and from all backgrounds seek and receive help from ELEM. These youth need help integrating into existing frameworks and, sometimes, simply getting through their teen years. To them ELEM offers preventative care and support via counseling centers, shelters,, online chat and forums, residential and day treatment,training, mentoring, and other social services. ELEM employs 250 counseling and treatment professionals and almost 2,000 volunteers (both adult and youth). Last year, ELEM met with tens of thousands of adolescents, and provided continuous treatment to approximately 12,000 of them
