A group of professional researchers and analysts promoting excellence in national security economics research. The group is meant to provide a forum for academic and nonacademic researchers on national security issues to make contacts, share research, and discuss issues. The focus is on the economics of national security, to include defense resource management issues (e.g., labor economics and manpower, industrial organization and acquisition issues, and health economics and defense health program issues) andpolicy issues (e.g., the economics of terrorism and public goods provision and alliances). Although the focus is on economics, non-economists interested in the economic study ofare welcome. We will update this description as the group matures.

This group is for students and alumni of the national security law LLM program at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.

The purpose of this group is to provide a place were Security Professionals can get industry news, share knowledge, encourage training opportunities, attend networking events, promote career development and strategize about industry standards.
