The Pacific Northwest National Lab has established the National Security and Nonproliferation Seminar Series as a one year program focusing on three areas of security; Nuclear and Cyber; Biological and Chemical and Energy and Environmental; with the following Goals and Objectives: -Engage 45 PNNL staff in professional development to expand national and global security opportunities, laboratory and staff capabilities. -Build multidisciplinary networks and teams through joint work on exercises, simulations, proposals, projects and presentations. -Deepen understanding of current and emerging issues to develop new solutions and new business. -Establish a forum for continuing training and engagement with prior seminar alumni to maintain networks and refresh knowledge -Engage and integrate new hires and mid-career transitioning staff interested indomains.

During the program NSRT guests are partnered with CGSC students and led by CGSC faculty. In turn, CGSC students and faculty develop a better appreciation for the challenges confronting business and community leaders and how they approach decision making and problem solving.
