If you are in any way involved with Assistive Technology (AT) services, then the AT Hubs group is for you. The AT-Hub is a community movement, to help connect AT services and sectors around people. There is often a disconnect between the various AT services. If planned, procured, commissioned and provided right, people will receive holistic, anticipatory and co-ordinated, efficiently and effectively. Assistive technology services support and assist individuals with disabilities, restricted mobility or other impairments to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible. AT supports many care and well-being related policies and strategies. The AT umbrella covers a vast range of products and services including for example: Aids to daily living Orthotics, prosthetics Wheelchairs, postural, pressure and seating equipmentmodifications and smart homes Environmental controls Communication and sensory equipment Telecare and digitalsolutions, including Apps Artificial Intelligence Whilst all these separate service areas exist, there is not much in place to connect these services around people. There is little in place by way of integration and interoperability. AT services span across health, care, education and housing sectors. There are many people responsible for the provision of AT services including: Policy makers, Planning, commissioning and procurement teams, Nursing, therapy and technical staff All AT Hub members are encouraged to use this group to share relevant posts, and experiences, and exchange information and knowledge. We run regional AT Hub events, to make the connections. We will also post new learning, evidence and ideas as these emerge, as well as getting dialogue going between people to understand how to make the necessary connections at scale. We have an increasing population which lives longer and this places stress on the health and care systems that are dediacted to looking after people. This sub-group is dedicated to understanding the issues and debating the potential solutions. For instance: How much does the country/Europe save by enabling friends, families and carers to keep their ageing relatives at, happy and safe for much longer into their old age? What systems are needed to do this? What are the requirments for the next generation of systems and devices in the home? Can these systems share information from building and energy systems? What are the privacy issues? If we help reduce through pre-emptive intervention, falls and trauma that require hospitalisation, how much of a strain is taken off the Healthand Hospitals? What are the savings?

Since 1988, we have provided physical, occupational and speech therapy services to Texas children, especially those with special needs, from birth to 21 years of age. Therapy services are performed in our own outpatient clinics, daycare, Head Start centers andhealth settings. One call to our Central Intake center takes care of scheduling evaluations and treatment plans. Free screenings are available in all of our clinics. We work with patient families and their physicians to design the right plan of care for the child.
