Founded in 1959, The Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association is a non profit industry trade association representing sand, gravel, quarry rock, cement, ready mix concrete, related businesses and suppliers in Washington State. The Association is dedicated to strengthening our collective industry and to keep it abreast of the changing way we do business. The Association represents the industry to the State Legislature, to educate and inform them of natural resource and generalissues that provide impacts and opportunities. Strives to work with all related state agencies to promote a positive and cooperative relationship while providing mutual education regarding agency objectives and balancing production, economics and promoting practicable and achievable compliance. The Association always encourages our member companies to take an active role in and promote environmental leadership and responsible environmental practices, become active within their communities and work cooperatively with neighborhood, local governments and our neighbors. The Association and it's members are extremely proud of the products and services we provide to our communities and to our quality of life in Washington State. Our products of concrete. aggregates and asphalt, have helped to build the foundation of Washington State and will help shape it's future. Our membership is always working toward new environmental, land use and community solutions, to promote a cooperative relationship with the citizens that we serve and the communities that we share.

Founded in 1917, the Master’s Association of Metal Finishers (MAMF) is one of the largest and most effective metal finishing associations in the country. As an affiliate of the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF), the MAMF is a strong presence in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania area. The aims and purposes of the MAMF are: • To provide a centralized source of information concerning the rules and regulations made by local, state and federal agencies; to assist members in complying with these regulations; and to minimize confusion in interpreting these regulations as they apply to the metal finishing industry. • To conduct regular meetings and seminars promoting ongoing education and providing a forum for discussion of common interest and problems related to theof electroplating, enameling, and polishing of metal parts. • To foster social, friendly association of MAMF members and others interested in maintaining the highest standards in metal finishing. • The MAMF currently holds a legacy seat on the NASF Board. This seat not being an elected position has all the voting rights but none of the political ramifications that come with an elected delegate. As a MAMF member you have direct access to our current representative, Paul Brancato, who is a centralized source of information concerning the NASF and our industry who also is delivering the MAMF member concerns directly to the NASF Board. • This plan benefits members in two ways, first it offers the potential for dividends each year plus advance discounts and second it provides professional administration and loss control. At present this is only available in New York.

Networking: the opportunity to meet like-minded professionals to talk about issues of concern; contact with other women’s organizations and with women lawyers outside the UK. Law Reform: we lobby for and promote changes in legislation with a view to them removing inequality, unfairness or administrative burden. Responses made to consultation papers on behalf of African Women Lawyers both on issues specific to our members and also on general legal issues. We are the independent international group for African Women lawyers. We provide a full range of services to our members. At present we undertake the following: We are involved in National and International conferences and events, including those run by the National Bar Association, The Law Society and the Bar Councils and the International Bar Associations.
