In 1982, the National Business Association (NBA), a non-profit organization for the Self-Employed, Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and professionals, was founded. The NBA continuously strives to provide its members with vital support programs, cost and time saving products and services in the areas of Business, Lifestyle, Education, and Health. The Nicollet-East Harriet Business Association (NEHBA) has been in existence for a four years and half years. Since forming we have gone from an organization of half a dozen discussing and sharing information related to those six businesses to an organization with one hundred and twelve paid members actively working on issues covering an area of 418 city blocks and approximately 400 store front businesses with partnerships across neighborhood organizations, local government, community organizations and other business associations. Late in 2010, NEHBA expanded its borders further south from 48th Street to 62nd Street at the behest of those businesses increasing our business establishment coverage significantly.
