The Denver Math Fellows program seeks individuals interested in a year of service working with high need students across Denver. Being a fellow is an opportunity to be part of a unique and transformative initiative in the fastest-growing urban school district in the nation. Fellows provide small group mathematics instruction to students in groups of three-to-one or four-to-one for a minimum of 45 minutes each day, emphasizing depth rather than breadth in math studies. Fellows work with students during the school day in addition to a traditional math class. Students are served at over 50across DPS. Fellows are full-time employees of Denver Public Schools and are an integral part of the school team at each school site.

Historically, youth in foster care have not received the necessary support to pursue higher education opportunities or to complete degree programs at the same rates as their peers. Research indicates youth aging out of foster care require additional social and academic supports to achieve degree completion in higher education. The Fostering Achievement Fellowship Program will provide the resources and support structure needed to ensure Fellowship recipients are successful in achieving their educational goals.

The school was founded as an elementary school in 1873 by a group of American missionaries led by James Bassett. This was in the 26th year of the reign of Nasereddin Shah Qajar, 22 years after Amir Kabir founded the Dar ul-Funun school in Tehran,33 years before the Constitutional Revolution in Persia (as it was known back then; later it became "Iran" during the Reza Shah Era). When Dr. Samuel Jordan arrived in Persia in 1898, he instituted various changes; subsequently, Alborz became a 12-year elementary andschool, with its share of college courses. Thereafter, the institution came to be known as the American College of Tehran.[1] Dr. Jordan remained president of Alborz for 42 years (1899-1940). During his tenure, Alborz grew from an elementary school to a renowned and established high school and college. In 1932, the school received a permanent charter from the Board of Regents of the State University of New York. In 1940 and during World War II, by the order of Shah Reza Pahlavi, Alborz was removed from American management and placed under the auspices of the Iranian Ministry of Education as part of Reza Shah's modernization reforms. Additionally, the school's name was changed from "College" back to "Alborz", and it was reinstated as a high school. In 1944, Professor Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi, member of University of Tehran's faculty, was appointed as the president of Alborz. From then until 1979, and continuing after the Iranian Revolution, Alborz had the most successful period of its history. In recent years Alborz continues to be one of the bestin Iran. However, it no longer carries the distinction of having an undisputed number one ranking. Its fall is mainly attributed to the steady rise of national schools for boys and girls. Even so, Alborz continues to rank consistently among the best schools in Iran.

Magis Catholic Teacher Corps (Magis) is a two-year post-graduate service teaching program at Creighton University. Magis strives to form talented, highly motivated, and faith-filled educators to teach in Catholic elementary and secondary schoolsacross the United States. While Magis teachers teach in Catholic schools, they earn their graduate degree through the Education Department at Creighton University, live in intentional Christian community with other members of the program and participate in ongoing spiritual, professional, and personal formation.

Independent Schools of St. Louis, a non-profit professional association established in 1972, includes 44 independently governed elementary and secondary schools throughout the metropolitan St. Louis region. Full Membership schools are independent schools that hold full membership with the Independent Schools of the Central States (ISACS) or AdvancED or are otherwise approved by the ISSL Board of Trustees. Schools that are members of Independent Schools of St. Louis provide a complete range of educational opportunities for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Network in Beijing (SENIB) is the local chapter of Special Education Network in Asia (SENIA), which is a network of educators, professionals and parents across Asia dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). Members include individuals from international and Chinesein Beijing, as well as businesses and independent specialists (such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, child psychiatrists and family counselors) providing services for children with special education needs.
