I was born and raised in Florence, since 1965 in the quiet and artistic Florence, for five years have been challenging apprentice to a master carver in wood good and I learned this charming, ancient art and craft, handed down by theof the Florentine Renaissance. In 1979 I have specialized exclusively in the production of coats of arms, carved in fine wood and embellished with tempera and gold leaf 24 carat and silver 1000. I'm the only one, in this branch of sculpture and my arms have found shelter in more 'than 40 countries in the world. In my long career I have worked for: Heads of State, Authority 'Religious, Monarchs, Orders of Chivalry, public and private Institutions, Nobles, and ordinary citizens. Every Opera and 'unique and signed into focus, and it' also a safe investment, (after my earthly passage, I hope more 'late as possible) my coats of arms, so', like all artists, will buy much more 'value . My gratification and 'that every opera I finish and' consigned to history and posterity as artistic expression. Our Story Artistic talent seems to run in our family. Both my sister and I find great enjoyment and fulfillment in creating one-of-a-kind handmade treasures. Unfortunately, we both live in different states and don’t get together very often, so we don’t always get to share with each other what we are making or feed off each others artistic abilities. Not so long ago, we decided to do ashow together with a local merchant. After spending many long hours of working our fingers to the bone to get ready for the show, we were, to say the least, disappointed because the turn-out was not as expected. Of course, this was not the first time of not having a good turn out when doing other shows. After having a short pity party and licking our wounds from that experience, we decided to put on our big girl panties and start brainstorming. We knew there were other talented and gifted artisans out there who were experiencing the same things we were. We decided to join some handmade artisan websites to display our crafts, but soon realized the population on those sites was so enormous, that a person may never be found or have the opportunity to showcase their exquisite handcrafted items. Once again, we went back to the brainstorming mode, and decided to create Zinnia Marketplace so that we could share it with other artisans, and give them an opportunity to be noticed and showcase their unique handcrafted creations.
