Over the past few years McMinnville has grown in its appreciatin and support of the arts as evidenced by our community arts program, galleries and growing fine arts community. Even given all this, McMinnville Sunrise Rotary and several other supporters in the business community decided that it's time for McMinnville to have an even larger presence by developing our own, local fine arts show and sale. The goal is to create an event that is not only a major community event for McMinnville - but to also develop a venue for Oregon artists that is affordable and offers them the opportunity to sell their art. Our first, expanded Artists Village was held this year "under the oaks" at Linfield College. Community response was fantastic! We were able to not only show a wonderful group of fine arts artists - but to give our best High School "Emerging Artists" an opportunity to show and sell their work. Expanding the venue to other art forms was also a success this year by having music and public readings of poetry. This is an area that we want to expand as we grow. If you would like to be a part of making this a larger, and even more successful event, I hope you will join with us to help expand our reach and success.

The mission of the New Oxford Foundation is to directly support extracurricular programs, fine and performing arts programs, and interscholastic sports that enrich the experience of the students of the Conewago Valley School District through grants or other donations.

The "Saints Cyril and Methodius" University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria was founded in 1963, as Brothers Cyril and Methodius Higher Institute of Education and on 14 October 1971 it was established as Bulgaria’s second university under its current name St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo. The year was deliberately chosen: 600 years earlier, in the fall of 1371, Euthymius, the renowned theologian and writer and later Bulgarian Patriarch, returned from Mount Athos to establish the medieval Turnovo Literary School in the Holy Trinity Monastery near Turnovgrad, an institution whose reputation as a prestigious medieval seat of learning spread the rich repository of Bulgarian literary traditions far beyond the borders of the Second Bulgarian Empire. The Turnovo Literary School had a powerful influence on the development of the literature and literary language in Russia, Serbia, and Romania and also greatly influenced the philosophy and practice of the religious institutions in those countries. For these reasons, despite its relatively short history as a university, Veliko Turnovo University is the rightful heir to centuries-old traditions dating back to the mission of Constantine-Cyril and Methodius among the Slavs. Today St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo, the largest Bulgarian university outside of Sofia, is a highly-respected centre for fine arts and the humanities, enjoying both a national and international reputation and maintaining a wide range of international contacts around the world.

The short term objective will be inviting 'artists / developers' to expose thier origional work, an image of the week,an app of the week, and comunity shareing techniques,real source & code helping designers abd developers find directly the help they need. The long term objective will be helping 'artists / developers' to connect with serious clients and sell thier work,techniques,& source code helping other learning artists start,learn and help an organisation that helps young people in difficulty.(The name of this organisation will be announced shortly).

ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS of Callanwolde (AYS), based at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in DeKalb County, Georgia, is Atlanta’s premier choir for children and youth. Founded in 1975 when the idea of boys and girls singing together in a community choir was rare in the United States, AYS is Bringing Music to Life for children and youth in metro Atlanta and audiences all over the world. Under Music Director Paige F. Mathis (an alumna and Music Director since 1998) and Executive Director Virginia M. Thompson, AYS provides a diverse and challenging learning environment that inspires intelligent thought, artistic creativity, and personal growth. More than 215 Singers ages 7-18 representing over 100 public, private, and home school environments serve the community through performances, free outreach concerts, and volunteer activities; grow and develop life skills such as cooperation, dedication, self-confidence, discipline, pride in performance, and mentoring; learn music skills through rehearsals, music theory instruction, camps, and regional and international tours; and sing with other children to create music of highest artistic quality.. The State Drawing School was opened on 1 October 1896 by Decree signed by Knyaz Ferdinand. This Act made legitimate the oldest institution for higher education in Bulgaria. The archive documents for the setting up of the present Academy reveal the names of outstanding public figures, artists Anton Mitov, Ivan Markvichka and Boris Shats and men of letters Konstantin Velichkov and Ivan Shishmanov. In 1911 the teaching staff submitted a plan for development to the Ministry of Education in which they also put forward their request the School to be renamed to Academy of Art. Ten years later in 1921 following a proposal by Stoyan Omarchevski, Minister of Education, the State Drawing School was renamed to Academy of Art. INTAC, International Art Collaborations is an initiative of OCADU photography (Canada), TAMK Department of Fine Arts (Finland), Chung Ang University (S.Korea) and Berlin Technical Art University (Germany). we are building on successful collaborations over the past 3 years where students have worked together to develop art projects. it is a creative art activity of working on collaborative projects with students from universities around the world. it works team-based environment, ideas and materials have been exchange through Skype, blogs and social media. Using group meetings, video conferencing and the online learning system, as well as more public and popular social networking tools, students possibly can do communicate and develop projects under professors and instructors at each school.

Star Performance Academy is a theatrical after-school program. Students may be picked up from school to be taken to the Star Performance Academy where they will engage in lessons of fine arts, acting, singing and dancing. The students will perform 4 plays a year for their family and people in the community. In the Washington, DC metropolitan area, there are many households where both parents are working, and they are looking for appropriate after school activities for their school age students. The parents want their children to participate in activities that will enrich and educate their children. The performance arts are such an activity. In addition to being fun for the children students, they teach skills such as confidence in public speaking and working with others. Research has shown that involvement in high-quality after-school programs is related to a number of positive youth outcomes. However, before they can benefit from these positive environments, they need to be drawn into a program and consistently engaged by it. The Star Performance Academy takes care to involve youth in a high-quality after-school program and will keep students and parents engaged.
