Les Dames d’Escoffier is the only organization of its kind: a world-wide philanthropic society of professional women leaders in the fields of food, agriculture, fine beverage and hospitality. The by-invitation membership, composed of over 2,400 members in 42 chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Mexico, is highly diversified and reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality. The Green Tables Initiative was launched in 2005 to further the linkages between urban and rural farms and gardens to school, restaurant and kitchen tables in LDEI chapter communities throughout our international organization. It's the heart of the New England Chapter mission. Unlike the other Les Dames d’Escoffier chapters, the New England chapter is Green Table centric. The highly anticipated juried Fine Arts and Crafts Show, Art in Speed Park is held the last Saturday and Sunday in August each year from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM both days. More than 20,000 people gather each year to celebrate the fine arts at the annual event, this year marking the 19th anniversary. Historic Speed Park in Sellersburg will once again be filled with 100 of the nation's leading arts and craftsmen, delicious food and the region's top entertainment. Art in Speed Park has been established as one of Kentuckiana's favorite art shows. "The amazing quality of the artwork always is a great surprise to those that are new to Art in Speed Park" said Kim Johnson, the show's Director for 16 years. Easy access to the show with parking at nearby Silver Creek High School is one of the many perks in attending. The layout of the booths at Art in Speed Park make it easy to browse and buy artwork. The tree lined park provides plenty of shade while seating gives folks an opportunity to relax and enjoy the food and entertainment. The children take advantage of the park's playground located in the center of the park, within a parent's view. The focus of Art in Speed Park is always on the Art itself. Pottery, stained and blown glass, jewelry, metal and stone sculpture, paintings, woodworking, are just some of the mediums featured at the show.

A Research–Practice Co-design Lab Advancing Equitable AI Design in Education AITeach is a developing researcher–practitioner partnership where educators, families, civic organizations, and EdTech companies co-design not only AI tools but also the systems that make them work in real classrooms. Based in the faculty of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Education, AITeach exists to strengthen AI-related teaching, scholarship and partnerships for faculty and students, while also serving university-wide AI goals and community interests. can be tested. A group for the parents, supporters and alumni of the Heartland Youth Choir. Dedicated to excellence this central Iowa civic organization was founded in 2003 by director Barbara Sletto to develop musicianship and build character in youth ages 6-18 through the rehearsal and performance of quality choral literature. The Heartland Youth Choir provides a unique opportunity for children of all racial, economic, and religious backgrounds. Singers from public, private, and home-school settings participate in this vocal music experience. Quality literature from all styles and periods forms the foundation for musical learning. Singers are divided into five levels, based on ability: Cadet Choir is a non-auditioned choir for 1st-3rd graders. In Cadet, children participate in basic vocal development activities, note reading, rhythmic movement activities and simple choral score study. Cantilena Choir is an auditioned choir for singers in 4th grade and above. In this level, children participate in basic note reading and begin work with two part harmony. This level tours for several days in the spring. Chanté Choir is an intermediate level choir that focuses on three-part treble singing. In this ensemble, particular emphasis is on music reading, vocal techniques, and rhythm studies. This level tours domestically each spring. Cantemus Choir is the most advanced treble choir. In this level, singers work on four part treble harmony and advanced music reading skills. Cantemus is called upon frequently to perform for Fine Arts Events, conferences, and participates in festivals throughout the United States. Chamber Choir is the most musically advanced ensemble of the Heartland Youth Choir and includes grades 9-12. This choir focuses on music reading skills, diverse music, and SATB literature. Chamber Choir is committed to musical excellence related to rehearsal and performance. Chamber tours both domestically and internationally.

A non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, the Arts and Design Society (ADSO) serves a diverse group within our area. Besides its adult programs, it sponsors an art show for middle- and high-school students. Each summer it offers an art camp for children. ADSO also maintains a free art gallery, open five days a week; offers monthly luncheons with art demonstrations or lectures, open to the public; reasonably-priced classes and workshops in a spectrum of media; and frequent art competitions, resulting in some twelve shows each year. ADSO also sponsors these three art show off the Art Center property: Northwest Florida Tri-County Fair's Fine Arts Show (27 years), held in November, showcasing work of adults and students and attracting some 2000 visitors. Beaux Arts Exhibition (53 years), held at Westwood Retirement Resort, during a weekend in February, open to all artists, averaging 300 viewers. Annual Southeast Regional Juried Fine Arts Exhibition (20 years), a juried show held each May at Northwest Florida State College, with participation by artists in ten states and viewed by an average of 1500 visitors.

Cardiff’s Butetown History and Arts Centre is proud to present Tabula Rasa, a contemporary exhibition by third year BA Photography students from the University of Glamorgan. The exhibition, which will run from June 21 to 26, will be opened by acclaimed Welsh landscape photographer David Wilson and is the first exhibition of its kind to be organised and staged outside of the university by students. Tabula Rasa, a Latin saying referring to the mind before it is affected by experience, will showcase a vast array of themes including documentary and fine art. Visitors will be able to see emotive portraiture ranging from P.T.S.D sufferers to young fisherman in Portugal, as well as abstract images of historical documents alongside plants and wildlife. The Butetown History and Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay is a popular location to view imagery of Welsh Culture. The exhibition will continue this tradition with a contrast between representing Welsh history and its industry alongside Cardiff’s burgeoning and highly acclaimed status. This exhibition will be the culmination of three-years hard work by the 20 students at the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries and landmarks their entrance into the professional world of photography. The exhibition will open on the 21st June at 7pm with food and drinks.
