Ra’ad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex was established under the laws of Islamic Republic of Iran in 1984 (Reg. No.2811). RRGC is a private charity institution, dedicated solely to promote the cause of the physically disabled community. The institution started its activities with five applicants in a temporarily donated premise of two small rooms at a charity medical clinic, located in a low income suburb, south of Tehran. RRGC now operates from its own building, a nearly 4,000 m2 (in excess of 40,000 sq.ft.) facility, constructed on a parcel of land measuring 2,800 sq m. to which RRGC holds the title deed. CHATS - Community & Home Assistance to Seniors is a not-for-profit charitable organization, launched in 1980 by a caring group of community members who believed in enhancing the independence of seniors living at home. Today, CHATS enhances the health, wellness and independence of more than 7,300 York Region and South Simcoe seniors and caregivers each year. We offer a full range of in-home and community services that enable seniors to continue living in their own home, such as in-home help and care, Meals on Wheels, transportation, home safety services, wellness/social programs, diversity outreach programs, caregiver support and education, hospital-to-home transition and much more. Based on a passion for caring and community, more than 580 volunteers are the heart and soul of CHATS.

The objective for the BDB is to provide a Business oriented forum for its members. Serving as the professional voice for African American nurses, licensed medical practitioners, surrogates and health enthusiast throughout USA, providing community-based health care services. Offering racial equity training sessions to reduce implicit bias, surrogacy/employment recruitment, training space for exercise, and strategic social media plan that generates awareness—HBG provides assistance for other organizations working on black maternal mortality, birth outcomes, trauma, and health. HBG commitment to eliminating health disparities and other barriers impacting the lives of Black women and girls will create a world where Black women and girls live long, happy and thriving lives, defined by healthy minds, bodies and spirits.

The AIDA project aims at strengthening the integration of health and social care services in order to improve the quality of assistance for frail elderly. The project builds on the knowledge base of the Information System on Social Services for Non Self sufficiency (SINA), which has made available individual information on long-term care at Italian national level. The information elaborated using the SINA database, an analysis of European good practices and a portfolio of innovative projects on LTC developed by Italian Regions will be used by the interregional coordination group in charge of setting the framework of national Guidelines for social and health Integration at national level (GfI). A local coordination group to be activated in a District of Regione Liguria will discuss the applicability and pertinence of the GfI. The results of the work of the inter-regional and local coordination groups will be the National Plan for Social and Health Integration, to be formally adopted by the Italian Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali. The Guidelines will be experimented at local level in a sample of Italian rural and scarcely populated social and health Districts with a low starting level of integration of social and health services, in order to assess their applicability to the local level and to analyze their potential effect on the improvement of the social and health integration among local services. The project will provide an overall assessment of the policy action implemented and the functionality of the GfI as an operational tool, clarifying whether and how the Guidelines helped the adoption of devices, which favor the social and health integration. The results of the experimentation will be discussed at European level, aimed at evaluating the transferability at European level of the Guidelines for social and health Integration, to be then promoted by a wide plan of mainstreaming activities.

Our non-profit organization, Ghana exchange volunteers organization, is a registered grassroot organization that provides health and educational opportunities for less privileged children and communities located in Senya beraku in Ghana. We have been in operation since 2009 and have made tremendous impact in our Healthcare project, Educational project and Child Labor and Trafficking project. We are in great need of support, that of volunteers. We have been able to affiliate with some hospitals,clinics and schools in the community where we work to help volunteers get more work to do. Without added support, our children and the community are vulnerable to dangerous conditions to include malaria, sexual abuse, heavy domestic work, child labor conditions, exposure to HIV/AIDS, and teenage pregnancy. Currently, we are helping 100 children escape this lifestyle by lending a helping hand through education and care. We are focusing on improving our programs for the future, however, our primary challenge is that we need volunteers now to help us with our daily teaching in schools and the hospital as well. Our volunteers work 7 hours a day and 35hours a week from healthcare work to teaching English, maths, arts, organizing games and doing health talks on endemic health issues in deprived communities in Ghana We are seeking compassionate individuals to serve for one or more weeks in the role of volunteer. With their help, health eduaction,health promotion,maternal care,we can empower our children, deliver targeted educational assistance, provide social support, and expose the children to the possibilities of escaping this hardship by taking advantage of possible opportunities around the world.
