Previous collaborations and continuing disparities in sexual and reproductive health in the circumpolar north have prompted a renewed interest in establishing a networking group for Sexual and Reproductive Health in the Arctic. Researchers, public health workers, community leaders, community members, clinicians and epidemiologists who are focused on adolescent health, domestic violence, relationship violence, substance use, STDs and HIV transmission, behavioral health, pregnancy prevention, access to contraception, family planning services, men’s health, and maternal health are welcome. The proposed objectives of the Circumpolar Sexual and Reproductive Health Networking group are; 1. To determine what sexual and reproductive health prevention is happening in the Arctic: identifying current circumpolar region research and public health programs and exchange ideas and experiences in implementing research and health promotion programs. 2. To understand what surveillance and epidemiology data are currently available and can be shared. 3. To determine what standard of care and services surrounding sexual and reproductive health are available in the Arctic, with a special focus on access to care. 4.
