Wikipedia is an amazing learning hub for teenagers and young people. Fuelled by openly available teaching materials from cultural heritage institutions, Wikipedia can become a valuable platform for youngsters to learn and participate actively in culture and democracy. Wikipedia + GLAM in School is a non-commercial project initiated by a small group of people and some central cultural institutions in Denmark working with digital heritage, open source and free knowledge. We are currently working on funding the project, and we hope that the community can be a platform to exchange thoughts, develop new ideas and strengthen our common goal - to share European cultural heritage and enhance knowledge among our populations. This is a network for current and past Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP), formally Collaborative Doctoral Award (CDA) students funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). CDP students are jointly supervised by subject specialists at both their Higher Education Institute (HEI) and at one of the 25 museums, libraries, archives or heritage organisations that make up the CDP Consortium.

DLNET the Digital Learning Network for museums, libraries and archives brings people together who are using digital technology to support learning. The DLNET is open to anyone to join who has an interest in how digital technology can help create creative and inspiring educational experiences. The idea of DLNET the Digital Learning Network is to go back to basics and get people talking about technology and learning in museums, archives and libraries. Originally formed as the Elearning Group in 2002 the Digital Learning Network has 10 years of experience of supporting people in museums,in their work using digital technology in learning. Members range in experience from the beginner to the skilled practitioner, and ideas and best practice are shared at face to face events and online via the website, the DLNET Mailing List, Linkedin Group, Facebook and Twitter.
