Inception of Moonflower Autism Foundation: Moonflower Autism Foundation was formed by a group of parents of individuals with autism and professionals on 23 December, 2022. The aims and objectives of Moonflower Autism Foundation is to provide training and education of individuals with autism and to rehabilitate them in mainstream society. An Executive Committee constituting only parents of individuals with autism manages the foundation. The students’ fees, personal donations of members, parents, other generous individuals and organizations fund all of the activities of Moonflower Autism Foundation. The Executive Members and General Members of this Foundation have been playing significant role on autism education and training in this country since 2000. Moonflower Autism Foundation is a non–profit, non–government, non-political and voluntary organization providing services to individuals with autism and their families in order to improve the quality of their lives. Foundation operates a well equipped and structured education and training centre called Moonflower School for Autism. Business collective action (BCA) is a prevalent, yet poorly understood phenomenon. Though organizational research acknowledges trade associations, political action committees, producer cooperatives, research foundations and other forms of business collectives, they are rarely the focus of inquiry. Nevertheless, in-depth analysis of BCA offers opportunities to enhance theory and gain insights into an increasingly important form of organizing. The examination of BCA may shed light on how organizations collaborate in pursuit of collective interventions for the good by addressing issues such as environmental sustainability or human rights, or in pursuit of their own interests, often at the cost of social welfare. Meanwhile, BCA is complicated by the inherent tensions between competitive and communal interests, making BCA an excellent context to examine sites of struggle between different actors. The aim of this community is to accelerate the debate within organization studies on the nature of BCA, its role and impact, as well as how scholars might study the phenomenon.
