Mission Statement To unite Austin area Credit Unions by encouraging industry distinction through education and community involvement. The ACCU is behind the Dell Children’s Medical Networkfor Kids Fundraiser in the spring, as well as the Kids Classic Golf Tournament in the fall. In 2004, the Austin Chapter ofhas pledged to raise $2.5 million over seven years for the Dell Children’s Medical Center. As of 2010, one year short of our deadline, we’ve raised $2.2 million, so we have faith that we will fulfill our pledge by the end of 2011. Our other undertaking belongs to the Capital Area Food Bank of Central Texas, in which we raise money through a golf tournament in the spring and a food drives in November. These are our two major commitments throughout the year with numerous smaller endeavors to be more involved with the community. The ACCU works extensively with the Texas Credit Union League (TCUL) and their Political Action Committee, the TCULPAC. The TCULPAC is an organization that helps shieldfrom harmful legislation as well as support Credit Union growth throughout Texas.

The Hospitality Association/The School of Hospitality Business Alumni Auction is a premier fundraising event for the Hospitality Association and the Alumni Association, featuring spectacular individual items and packages donated by alumni and other industry friends in a live auction and a silent auction. This popular event draws hundreds of community members, alumni, students, and faculty, and helps fund a number of programs in The School of Hospitality Business. A portion of the Auction proceeds is donated to two local charities: the Junior League of Lansing and the MSU Federal Credit Union's Institute for Arts & Creativity at the Wharton Center. With a different theme each year, Auction is an exciting, colorful event, organized and led by students in partnership with The School alumni. This year's theme is Coast To Coast! With a Coast to Coast Auction you can imagine the exciting colorful atmosphere that will surround the fabulous trips, accomodations, fabulous items, and great deals waiting to be yours! The Auction will be Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 5:00 pm at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center.

Šeimos kredito unijos gyvavimo istorija prasidėjo nuo 2012 metų liepos 25 d., kai gavus Lietuvos banko leidimą Šeimos kredito unija buvo užregistruota Lietuvos Respublikos Juridinių asmenų registre. Vėliau (2013 m. gruodžio 12 d.) Lietuvos banko valdyba Šeimos kredito unijai nutarė išduoti licenciją, suteikiančią teisę teikti Kredito unijų įstatymo 4 straipsnio 2 dalies 1 ir 2 punktuose nustatytas licencines finansines paslaugas (indėlių ir kitų grąžintinų lėšų priėmimas iš neprofesionalių rinkos dalyvių; Mokėjimų įstatymo 5 straipsnyje nustatytos mokėjimo paslaugos). Nediskriminuojant kitų asmenų, Šeimos kredito unijos orientacinė grupė – šeimos vertybėms neabejingi asmenys: jaunos šeimos, tėvai, seneliai ir kiti žmonės, kuriuos vienija bendra šeimos koncepcija, moraliniai principai bei noras naudotis skaidriomis bei šeimai draugiškomis finansinėmis paslaugomis.
