The European Christian Political Youth (ECPYouth) is a political association of youth organizations from all over Europe. We are the independent youth organization of the European Christian Political Movement (ECPM). We aim to reflect and work on Christian-democratic politics in Europe from an explicit Christian-social view. Rochester Area Birth Network supports the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, a wellness model of maternity care issued by the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS), a group of individuals and national organizations with concern for the care and well-being of mothers, babies, and families. Who We Are We are an official chapter of Birth Network National, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are comprised of a network of childbirth educators, midwives, labor assistants (doulas), family physicians, nurses, breastfeeding consultants, and parents who know the importance of informed options and alternatives in childbearing. While we encompass a broad range of political and religious perspectives, we all agree that birth is a normal, natural, and healthy process and that every family should have the opportunity for a healthy, joyous birth experience with a minimum of interventions. Maternity care should be evidence-based and woman-centered. Women are entitled to complete and accurate information on their full range of options for pregnancy, birth, post-partum and breastfeeding. Women have a right to make health care decisions for themselves and their babies. That right includes Informed Consent as well as Informed Refusal.

The Faces, Voices and Places initiative was launched by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) at the 47th Directing Council with the purpose of accelerating progress toward the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The initiative focuses its efforts on the most vulnerable communities in our region, from a perspective of health and development. This novel and determined Pan-American effort against inequity has already created an innovative action network that involves the ministries of health and other sectors, mayors from participating communities, civil society, nongovernmental organizations and international agencies. Faces, Voices and Places is an effort to build political will at the highest level while at the same time providing technical assistance to address the social and economic determinants of health at the local level. Business and Professional Women of Colorado (BPW Colorado) was founded in 1919. This organization has, and continues to be, a leader for women's rights at the local, state, national, and international levels. We are 100% volunteer-run, service and membership organization. We are defined by the hundreds of individuals from communities large and small, who are members of BPW Colorado! Although we are not a "leads organization", we find that networking and opportunities happen organically at all levels of our organization. We help women achieve professional, personal, and political goals through programs, workshops, networking, and friendships. All is achieved through monthly meetings and other sponsored activities.
